Agathe was born and raised in Paris and came to the United States to go
to Sarah Lawrence College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History.
She moved back to Paris to complete an Masters Degree in History at the Sorbonne.
She was then hired as the assistant to the Director of Development at Buena

Where Art Thou? and The Sixth Sense. After her experience in a studio environment,
Agathe decided to pursue her career in the world of independent films. She moved to
New York to work for Hart/Sharp Entertainment as a development executive for European
projects.
Five years ago, she started her own film production company. Her first feature film production,
Kettle of Fish, a romantic comedy with Matthew Modine and Gina Gershon,
premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2006. Her second feature film, Superheroes,
directed by Alan Brown, was released in the spring of 2008 by IFC. She is now in
development on her third film, Wild Oats, to be directed by Scott Marshall.
