Agathe David-Weill founded Messenger Theatre Company with Emily Davis and Shannon Harvey whom she met in college. She produces all the plays developed by Messenger. She attends to the financial, organizational and mental well-being of the company and is learning to love the theater more and more...

Agathe was born and raised in Paris and came to the United States to go to Sarah Lawrence College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. She moved back to Paris to complete an Masters Degree in History at the Sorbonne.

She was then hired as the assistant to the Director of Development at Buena Vista Motion Pictures Group in Los Angeles. During her three years there, she worked on such projects as Enemy of The State, Remember The Titans, O Brother, Where Art Thou? and The Sixth Sense. After her experience in a studio environment, Agathe decided to pursue her career in the world of independent films. She moved to New York to work for Hart/Sharp Entertainment as a development executive for European projects.

Two years ago, she started her own film production company. She has produced a number of short films including Talking Richard Wilson Blues directed by Nicholas Twemlow, which was selected a part of the Tribeca International Film festival and Dead Sexy, directed by Jonathon Robinson.
