How to Listen to a podcast

You can listen to The Defense here and both seasons of The Dragoning here on our site. That may be the easiest if you don’t already have a podcast app you like.

If you’re new to podcasts, we are delighted we get to introduce you to the medium and give you some help getting started.

First: It’s free. Unless you’re on a fancy podcast app (and that’s unlikely) you can listen to as many podcasts as you like for free! (I point this out first because I’ve introduced many people to podcasts who did not know this.).

Second: If you want to listen to more podcasts than ours, you’ll want a podcast app. If you have an iPhone or iPad, you already have one.

It looks something like that rounded purple square over there. In fact, if you’re on an Apple device and you click that icon, it might just open up the app (and our show on it) for you.

You can also find us (and most podcasts) on Spotify, which some of you also already have. Just search for The Defense or The Dragoning and we should be right there. Or you could click on that Spotify icon.

If you have Amazon Music or Audible or Pandora, you can also search for The Defense or The Dragoning in all of those places.

Third: Once you’ve found our show on your podcast app, you’ll probably have to scroll down to the bottom for the first episode of the first season.

Fourth: Push play! It’s usually a little triangle in the middle of a circle. (Or an oval, as below.)

Fifth: For The Dragoning: Listen to all ten episodes of both Season One and Season Two, and the short bonus episodes if you want! For The Defense, listen to what’s there and click subscribe (or Follow, depending on the app) so you’ll get the new episodes as they come in.

Sixth: Give us five stars if you can! And a nice review!

Seventh: Hungry for more podcasts? We can recommend some! Just type the name into your podcast app’s search field and enjoy!
